I had a whole email written, but since Lulu (as her friends called her) made her transition yesterday, I am overwhelmed by memories and emotions. Louise Hay died 2 years to the day that another of my mentors left the planet - Dr. Wayne Dyer. Honestly, I don't think I would be doing what I do, or have the life I live, or continue to grow without both of their contributions. It surprised me then, that when you Google "Louise L. Hay', the negative stuff comes up first. Which leads me to this:
Everyone has an opinion, and that is all it is, their opinion.
No matter how wise someone is, they are made up of good, bad, quirky, brilliant and fallible parts - just like you and me - and they didn't let it stop them.
"Love yourself" is at the root of all of Lulu's teachings - top to toe, inside and out.....something to aspire to, for sure.
So, today I want to pray with my feet - walk thru life coming from a place of love. Move forward, no matter what that monkey brain of mine is saying. Be perfectly imperfect and honor all parts of myself, body, mind and spirit, in honor of Louis Hay, who has left such a beautiful legacy. (Things are so much more fun when we do them together.....wanna join me?! )
Thank you again for your light, Lulu. Say hi to Doc Wayne for me!
