It's stat-icky out there, and even with the new moon on Tuesday (which has unleashed some powerful new stuff) there is still a lot of energetic debris flying around so I thought I'd give you some fun ways to help you deal with the tumult that you might be dealing with day to day. If some of these tools sound a little "woo woo" to you, suspend that monkey brain of yours! It's funny, most of us are stuck in our one-dimensional physical way of thinking/being, (what I call 3-D world) but life is multidimensional. I'm constantly reminding myself to live from the premise that Pam Grout writes about in her book E-Squared,
"What we see, experience, and feel with our five senses always comes after the decision to see, experience, and feel it."
So come on along and let's decide to have some fun with this, OK?! Some of these tools will be familiar, worth repeating - a good reminder to cha-cha thru your day - some may be brand new, an invitation to try something different (I am all about trying new things). OK, soap box retired, let's get to it:
Turn off your TV. Stop looking at Social Media that is negative and fear based. If you must have electrical input use your computer to feed that beautiful soul of yours inspiration..............it is everywhere! Les Brown, Brene Brown, Tony Robbins, Oprah, Isabel Allende..... I bet you know a few that you can share with me!
Surrounded by people and a work atmosphere that is less than ideal? Before you step into your home, put both feet on the mat in front of your door (and if you don't have one, it's an easy fix) and imagine that it is a super powerful vacuum that sucks off all the negative energy that might have attached to you over the day......give it a few seconds to get every bit of it, then, when you walk in the door, take off your shoes.... don't wear them into your home. Let your home be your haven, your respite from the world ;)
Hook Up, Ground and Protect. If you don't have it, download it here. I always say a tool is only good if you use it, so use it! Totally worth the couple of minutes it takes, and if you are still feeling barraged by negativity, put that person in a bubble....whoops, that is supposed to be #4
Put your negative friend in a Glinda Bubble.....you know, from the Wizard of Oz? That lovely, blue, shimmery bubble that the good witch floated down in is perfect for containing the negative, or plentiful, or aggressive energy coming at you. It's all about intention, so intentionally see that person or table of people, or....well, you get the idea, anything that is disruptive energetically, intentionally see the bubble go around them. It will give you the space to respond, not REACT.
OK, last one.....when you are in balance, everything else becomes easier. I promise. This is a fast and dirty neurovascular balance that I learned from Donna Eden. If you are in stress, this allows better communication between the front part of the brain as it is trying to figure things out and the back part as it is mobilizing for the fight-or-flight response. Use the fingers of both hands to briskly massage your neck and scalp for a minute. It gets your blood flowing and your energy moving. Then, stretch your forehead to the sides to open the space. After, lay one palm on your forehead and the other on the back of your head. Hold them there for at least three minutes breathing deeply and comfortably through your nose. This returns blood to your forebrain and balances the circulation of blood throughout your body. Holding your other hand behind your head sedates the fear points and calms your hypothalamus. Suffice it to say that this works....give it a try.
So, there you have it....hoping that there is at least one, heck, a few tools that you can use to make your days easier and your life a bit more focused and on purpose. Take some calm into the weekend, kiddo........
I'll send you a reminder about the call on Tuesday- you know, where we're talking about How to Raise an Empath. I don't want to bug you with 2 emails in a week, but this is important info and if you aren't interested you can pass it along to someone that might have use of the info....
Lots to do, Gorgeous. I can tell that August is going to be AWESOME.
