I have a good friend who always says that being emotionally uncomfortable is worse than being in physical pain and I have to agree. It's like that overstuffed feeling you have after a massive Thanksgiving meal except there aren't any buttons to undo. Since I'm WAAAAY out of my comfort zone right now, learning something new but I'm still working on my discipline of being happy, I'm trying out all kinds of new ways to loosen my proverbial waistband and grab back the joy. Call me crazy but my go-to "state changer" is dancing on my mini-trampoline to Pharrell's Happy(BTW, that sound you hear is my children groaning at my over-share...) Here's another one - if I'm out I have a few bottles of essential oils in my car or purse - lavender, peppermint and jasmine so if I'm not at home I can still get some help getting back to center. The best mood changer of course is my big deaf dog Bill. He has the worst breath in the world but is the fastest path to fur covered, slobbered on happiness. ;)
OK, your turn...how do you take a Bliss Break? Let me know and I'll add them to our last October "Blissipline Communication".....
Why did the chicken cross the road?
